[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Do-ing Talent Development University, Dongmyung University’s Department of Advertising and PR and the student council will hold a total of four career special lectures once a week from the 12th to June 2nd, along with one special lecture.
“Senior Employment Counseling Center” is an extracurricular program where graduates from Dongmyung University’s Department of Advertising and PR serve as instructors to introduce their areas of expertise, work life, and employment methods, and provide employment consulting through Q&A sessions.
The program has been running for five years since 2018.
The 2022 first semester continuous special lectures of “Senior Employment Counseling Center,” hosted by Dongmyung University’s Department of Advertising and PR and conducted by the Advertising and PR student council, feature experts from various fields such as film, video, PR, and advertising as instructors.
The first lecture will be held on the 12th at 4 p.m. under the theme “Busan International Film Festival and My University Life,” led by Jang Eun-seok, team leader of the Busan International Film Festival.
The second lecture will be on the 18th at 4 p.m. with the theme “A Day in the Life of a Corporate Advertising and PR Video Producer,” presented by Han Seong-hyun, assistant manager at Ajeong Networks.
The third lecture will take place on the 24th at 4 p.m. under the theme “The Hidden Advertising and PR Formula in Large Supermarkets,” given by Lee Seong-hee, assistant manager of the Promotion Team at Homeplus Yeonsan Branch.
The fourth lecture will be on the 30th at 4 p.m. with the theme “The Tumultuous Life of a New AE,” presented by Park Chan-su, AE at Oasis Marketing.
The final fifth special lecture will be held on June 2nd at 4:30 p.m., featuring Dongmyung University assistant Lee Seung-jun’s talk on “Utilizing the German Exchange Student Program.”
Professor Lee Jeong-gi, head of the Department of Advertising and PR and planner of the program, said, “Just seeing seniors who are active as experts in various fields of society can motivate students,” and added, “We will continue to hold special lectures where seniors serve as instructors.”
