[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Jeju Air announced on the 9th that it will resume flights on the Busan~Singapore route starting June 24. This comes after suspending regular flights on the Busan~Singapore route since February 29, 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19, marking a hiatus of about 2 years and 4 months.
Jeju Air's Busan~Singapore route will depart from Gimhae International Airport at 6:00 PM (local time) every Tuesday and Friday. From Singapore, flights will depart at 12:35 AM the next day and arrive at Gimhae at 8:00 AM. Detailed flight schedules may vary depending on local conditions.
The Busan~Singapore route is the longest route operated by Jeju Air, with a flight distance of 4,700 km and a flight time of approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes.
Singapore implements a quarantine-free entry system for fully vaccinated travelers, allowing entry without restrictions at any time with proof of vaccination.
In line with the resumption of the Busan~Singapore route, Jeju Air will launch a special airfare promotion from the 11th to the 17th. One-way tickets, valid for travel from June 24 to August 31, will be sold starting at a total one-way fare of 301,100 KRW, including fuel surcharges and airport facility fees.
Airfares may vary slightly depending on booking dates and exchange rate fluctuations, and early closure may occur depending on reservation status. Purchases are only available through the Jeju Air website, mobile app, or mobile web.
Meanwhile, Jeju Air plans to start operating the Busan~Bangkok route twice a week from the end of June.
