Tak Hyun-min and Kim Eo-jun Raise Suspicions About Kim Geon-hee on YouTube Broadcast
"Visited Diplomatic Mission Saying 'It Would Be Good to Cut Down Trees'"
Blue House TF: "False Claims... Must Reveal How Photos Were Obtained"
Mr. Kim Eo-jun
The Blue House Relocation Task Force (TF) rebutted claims made by Tak Hyun-min, the Blue House Protocol Secretary, and broadcaster Kim Eo-jun regarding allegations against Kim Geon-hee, the wife of President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol, stating that they are "continuously spreading false claims and fabricated stories."
On the 7th, the Blue House Relocation TF issued a statement titled "Position on the False Agitation by Secretary Tak Hyun-min and YouTuber Kim Eo-jun," saying, "The false agitation DNA of the Democratic Party, the current Blue House, and pro-government YouTubers has appeared once again," and emphasized, "We clearly state once again that the claims made by Secretary Tak and Mr. Kim on the broadcast are completely untrue."
Previously, on the 6th, Secretary Tak and Mr. Kim claimed on the YouTube channel 'Das Bweida' that Mrs. Kim visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official residence, which was decided as the presidential residence, and said, "It would be good to cut down the trees," according to someone they heard it from.
Mr. Kim Eo-jun revealed a photo of a tree in the garden of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official residence and asked Secretary Tak, "It is said that Kim Geon-hee went to the official residence and said, 'We should cut down that tree.' Isn't this the tree? Didn't you hear somewhere that she said to cut it down?" Secretary Tak also said he heard from someone that Kim Geon-hee said, 'It would be good to cut down the trees.'
Secretary Tak said, "I recently visited the official residence, but I will not talk about that part. The wife of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs was very upset. The reason she was upset was that the journalists who wrote related articles said she was in her 70s."
In response, the Blue House Relocation TF pointed out, "Secretary Tak should openly clarify whether his visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official residence, which is not his workplace, and his meeting with the spouse of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs was for the purpose of fabricating false stories for agitation, and YouTuber Kim Eo-jun should also openly disclose from whom and how he obtained photos of the interior of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official residence, which is a secure facility."
They added, "If they fail to clarify these points, the actions of Secretary Tak and YouTuber Kim Eo-jun will be seen as an admission that their false agitation serves only political purposes."
