20s Man Who Died After Visiting Club Tested Positive for Drugs... Police Investigation Underway

According to the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station on the 6th, Mr. A, who was returning home in a friend's car around 3:30 a.m. the previous day, showed symptoms of respiratory distress and was transported to a hospital but ultimately passed away.

During treatment, it was revealed that two types of drugs, ketamine and ecstasy, were detected in Mr. A's blood.

The group stated that although Mr. A frequently moved around inside the club, they were completely unaware of any drug use.

The police plan to apply for an autopsy warrant to determine the exact cause of death and will investigate the precise circumstances based on CCTV footage recorded inside the club.
