On this day, the Justice Party held a party meeting at the National Assembly in the morning and announced that Representative Lee was elected as the successor to floor leader Bae Jin-kyo.

The newly appointed floor leader said, "The Justice Party, with its 6 seats, will work together and take responsibility together for the citizens as a united team, as it has in the past," adding, "Please watch the Justice Party's strong future steps as the third party."

He stated, "In this urgent situation with the presidential election behind us and the local elections ahead, a new floor leadership team has been launched. All conditions are not favorable," but emphasized, "However, the party members and citizens who trust and support us are the strong backing of the leadership team. We will not take this lightly."

The new floor leader said, "From the launch of the new government, I will do my best through political means for the responsibility of our politics, the integration of the community, and change and improvement," adding, "From the negotiation for the second half of the year’s parliamentary organization, the regular session, to the audit of state affairs, the six-member Justice Party parliamentary group will work together and take responsibility so that the plurality of our society and the values of progress become an opportunity to advance life, not just slogans."

On the same day, Representative Jang Hye-young was appointed as the floor deputy leader, and Representative Ryu Ho-jeong was appointed as the floor spokesperson.
