ADM Korea Expands DM Business Through Partnership with Medidata

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Clinical Research Organization (CRO) ADM Korea has strengthened its DM business by forming a partnership with Medidata, a company specializing in clinical trial solutions.

Through this partnership, ADM Korea will adopt Medidata's clinical trial solutions, including Rave Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Rave Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM), and electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA).

An ADM Korea representative explained, "By signing this partnership, we can provide Medidata's clinical trial solutions in addition to the clinical trial solutions from CRS Cube that we have been using. This will enable us to secure a diverse range of clients and diversify our business orders."

ADM Korea has recruited experts capable of utilizing Medidata's clinical trial solutions. The DM business workforce increased by 30% compared to the previous quarter. It is expected to provide services without additional time required for training and certification for solution utilization.

ADM Korea introduced that its business is growing through continuous expert recruitment and strengthened sales efforts. The proportion of LPS business sales within ADM Korea's total revenue increased from 14.6% last year to 22.6% in the first quarter of this year. The order amount also increased compared to the previous quarter. This is explained as evidence that ADM Korea possesses high technical capabilities not only in regulatory clinical trial outsourcing but also in the LPS business.
