[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 3rd, President Moon Jae-in invited 30 people, including the Prime Minister, Cabinet members, and minister-level chairpersons, to the Blue House for a final luncheon, praising their efforts by saying, "We overcame the crisis well by responding as one team."
President Moon said, "Throughout our government, it was a time of crisis, both unique to us and global," adding, "The Cabinet members responded as one team without regard to their departmental jurisdictions, overcoming the crisis well and turning it into an opportunity for greater leap forward."
He continued, "South Korea has become a stronger and more confident country amid the crisis, and we can proudly say we are a leading nation," adding, "In the process of overcoming the crisis, we found ways to overcome difficulties, gained confidence, and newly discovered our capabilities."
President Moon said, "I hope the Moon Jae-in administration will be evaluated and remembered as the government that opened a new era for South Korea," and expressed gratitude to the Cabinet members, saying, "Thank you for joining in opening a new era for South Korea and for riding together on the first vehicle of that journey."
