Gochang Rural Film Festival Accelerates Training of Local Film and Video Professionals

According to the county on the 3rd, it was recently selected for the 'Regional Filmmaker Specialized Professional Education Support Project' hosted by the Korean Film Council and the 'Jeonbuk Office of Education Private Organization Subsidy Support Project,' promoting the cultivation of local film and video professionals through various film productions and high-quality film and video education.

'Nop-eul Gochang Healing Film School' is a local film and video professional training program, planned to serve as a medium for a healing cultural city where local residents participate together to create and leave works based on Gochang's pristine natural environment.

Lee Moon-gu, Chairman of the Gochang Rural Film Festival Organizing Committee (Head of Nonghyup Gochang County Branch), said, "Through the Nop-eul Gochang Healing Film School, we will make the Gochang Rural Film Festival a film festival that provides systematic, practical education along with healing in nature that only Gochang's clean area can offer," adding, "We hope local residents show great interest and participate in the Gochang Rural Film Festival and the Nop-eul Gochang Healing Film School."

Park Seong-gi, Director of the County Agriculture and Fisheries Food Division, said, "We will work together with the Gochang Rural Film Festival Organizing Committee so that the talents produced through the Nop-eul Gochang Healing Film School can lead the Korean film industry."

Meanwhile, recruitment for the 'Nop-eul Gochang Healing Film School' trainees will be announced through the official website, and the Gochang Rural Film Festival, marking its 5th year this year, is scheduled to be held for three days from October 28 throughout Gochang County.
