Set to be released this month, "You Are Jo Guk" covers the 67 days from August 9, 2019, when Jo Guk was nominated as Minister of Justice, to October 14, when he resigned from the post. The film is directed by Lee Seungjun, who won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film for "Absent Memory," a documentary about the Sewol ferry disaster, marking the first Korean to receive the honor.

The film premiered on the 1st at the 23rd Jeonju International Film Festival. The special screening at Jeonju Dome, which seats 2,300, was sold out, with the audience filling the seats, demonstrating high interest.

"Is the Republic of Korea a democratic republic or a prosecution republic? Can you be sure that the prosecution's blade will not turn toward you? The hunt has begun. Following the coordinates set by the prosecution, the media swarms, and rumors spread like wildfire. Before the enraged public, the prosecution brandishes its sword. Who is the one being chased? Can you be sure it is not you?"

This is the film introduction released by "You Are Jo Guk." As the film is soon to be released to the world, all eyes are on how audiences will evaluate it and what questions the film will pose.
