[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Se-ryeong] Kim Dong-gu, the representative lawyer of Gyeongnam Law Firm, has become the 39th president of the Gyeongnam National University Alumni Association.

Representative lawyer Kim Dong-gu was inaugurated as the 39th president at the inauguration ceremony for the 38th and 39th presidents held on the 3rd of 2022.

Kim, a graduate of the Department of Business Administration at Gyeongnam National University, passed the 38th Judicial Examination and began his career as a lawyer in January 1999.

He has served as a committee member in various organizations including the Gyeongnam Provincial Administrative Information Disclosure Deliberation Committee, Regulatory Reform Committee, Environmental Dispute Mediation Committee, Local Construction Dispute Mediation Committee, School Violence Countermeasures Autonomous Committee, and Regional Newspaper Development Committee.

He has held positions such as chairman of the Changwon District Court Management Committee, director of Changwon Country Club, and director of the Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Promotion Agency, and is currently active as the representative lawyer of Gyeongnam Law Firm.

Newly appointed president Kim Dong-gu said, “As I take on the role representing the proud 150,000 Hanma family, I will carry a sense of mission and do my best for the development of the Alumni Association,” adding, “The Alumni Association will support the continuous emergence of excellent juniors with creative capabilities.”
