After the inauguration ceremony of the 1st Student Human Rights Supporters, participants are taking a group commemorative photo.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Do-ing Talent Development University, Dongmyung University, held the inauguration ceremony for the 1st Student Human Rights Supporters on the 2nd at the 2nd floor of the Student Welfare Center and has begun full-scale activities.
The 1st Student Human Rights Supporters will promote the activities of the Human Rights Center both on and off campus, and carry out activities online and on-site to protect the human rights of enrolled students, improve their rights, and spread a culture of gender equality.
Kim Dae-hoe, a senior in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and overall team leader of the 15 supporters, said, “We will gather ideas starting from the supporters themselves and actively work to improve awareness of human rights issues such as gender equality both on and off campus.”
The Human Rights Supporters are organized by the Dongmyung University Human Rights Center and are divided into three teams of five members each, with activities planned until the end of June.
