Various K League Activities Planned Until 2025 with Live Broadcast Starting from the 5th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coupang announced on the 2nd that it will broadcast all matches of the Republic of Korea professional football K League live on Coupang Play. Coupang Play will start live broadcasting from the 10th round matches of K League 1 beginning on the 5th. This season, all matches of K League 1 will be broadcast every round. Next season, both K League 1 and K League 2 will be covered.
Previously, Coupang Play held an official partnership signing ceremony with the Korea Professional Football League, which oversees the K League. According to the partnership, Coupang Play plans to carry out various activities for the development of the K League, not only broadcasting, until 2025. Coupang Play has decided to actively invest in K League content business and will produce original K League-related content to capture the world of professional football in Korea.
In particular, this summer, Coupang Play will invite Tottenham Hotspur to Korea through the 'Coupang Play Series' and will exclusively broadcast the first match against Team K League on July 13.
