Dongwha Pharm Launches Brush-Type Athlete's Foot Treatment 'Barzio Once'

Dongwha Pharm Launches Brush-Type Athlete's Foot Treatment 'Barzio Once' Dongwha Pharm Barzio Once.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Dongwha Pharmaceutical announced on the 2nd that it has launched the brush-type athlete's foot treatment, "Barzio Once."

Barzio Once contains terbinafine hydrochloride as its main ingredient, which has a short treatment period and a low recurrence rate, making it highly effective. It allows for hassle-free treatment with just a single application.

Barzio Once is the first once-use athlete's foot treatment to feature a brush at the opening. The brush eliminates the inconvenience of applying the medicine by hand and allows for easy application between the toes, making it effective against the most common types of athlete's foot, such as interdigital and vesicular types.

To use, clean the affected area thoroughly before application, dry completely, and then apply a sufficient amount of the medicine to both feet. For complete treatment, it is important to apply the medicine even to areas where athlete's foot has not appeared. The 6g volume is enough to cover the entire soles of both feet and up to 1.5 cm above the soles.

A Dongwha Pharmaceutical representative said, "Barzio Once was launched to improve the inconveniences consumers experienced with existing athlete's foot treatments by applying a brush and reducing the ethanol smell. Since the medicine remains on the skin for a long time after just one application, it is easy to use and has high compliance."

Dongwha Pharmaceutical has completed the Barzio integrated brand lineup with four types. It consists of the new product "Barzio Once," which allows convenient management with a single application; "Barzio Modu Cream," the only domestic complex athlete's foot treatment containing six effective ingredients for interdigital hyperkeratotic athlete's foot; "Barzio Cream," effective for interdigital or minor vesicular types; and "Barzio Nail Lacquer," a topical treatment for hand and toenail athlete's foot.

The Barzio lineup is available as an over-the-counter drug and can be purchased at pharmacies.
