Action Square Signs Supply Contract for New Title 'Project AE' with US Gala Games

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Multi-platform game developer Action Square announced on the 29th that it has signed a supply contract to distribute the unreleased new title 'Project AE' to the US-based Gala Games.

Gala Games holds the worldwide publishing rights for 'Project AE.' The contract amount will not be disclosed at the request of the parties involved.

'Project AE' is a new unreleased title, and the contract was signed in recognition of Action Square's development capabilities and game quality. Project AE is being developed as an NFT and P&E (Play and Earn) based game.

Action Square received the Game Grand Prize for 'Blade for Kakao.' It has serviced 'Blade 2' and 'Samguk Blade.' Last year, it released 'Anvil' on Xbox Game Pass and Steam. Currently, it is developing the new P2E game ‘Blade: Reaction’ and the Netflix Kingdom IP 'Kingdom: The Blood of the Royal Family.' Including the unreleased new title 'Project AE,' a total of three new titles will be unveiled from this year through 2023.

Gala Games records over 1.3 million monthly active users (MAU) and possesses the world's largest independent node network. It develops and services various games such as the IP-based MMORPG ‘The Walking Dead: Empires,’ simulation game ‘Town Star,’ and MMORPG ‘Mirandus.’

Expanding its business into the entertainment sector, Gala Games launched the music platform ‘Gala Music’ and released NFT albums by famous North American artists. The cryptocurrency 'GALA' issued by Gala Games is listed on major global exchanges such as Binance and Coinbase, as well as domestic exchanges Bithumb, Coinone, and Korbit.
