[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Justice Party leader Yeo Young-guk is running as the candidate for Governor of Gyeongnam in the June nationwide local elections.

On the afternoon of the 28th, Leader Yeo declared her candidacy for Governor of Gyeongnam at the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Plaza in Uichang-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.

“The Justice Party is a party with a mission to change the politics centered on the two major parties that have caused the world's greatest inequality, the lowest birthrate, and the crisis of regional extinction over the past 70 years,” she said, adding, “As the leader of the third party, I will take the lead to fulfill my political mission and create a starting point for political change in Gyeongnam.”

Leader Yeo, who criticized the past 10 years of Gyeongnam provincial administration as a mid-term resignation administration, emphasized that she would remove the shadow of resignation that has followed like a label.

Her pledges include ▲ Gyeongnam that cares for jobs and people's livelihoods ▲ Gyeongnam as the number one place for public healthcare ▲ and a clean Gyeongnam that can be passed on to future generations.

Leader Yeo stated, “Only a livelihood-centered approach can change the lives of the residents even by an inch,” and explained her reason for running, “I will create livelihood politics and livelihood administration to prove why third alternative politics is necessary.”

She said, “I believe that the residents' hearts will also join the desire for political change, as only third-party politics and multiparty democracy can take care of people's livelihoods.”
