"Lotte Hotel World, 'Grand Reopening' of All Rooms on the 1st of Next Month" Lotte Hotel World, Roti Rori Room.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel World announced on the 28th that it will complete the renovation of the lower floors one year after the high floors' renewal opening in June and will hold a "Grand Reopening" on the 1st of next month.

Lotte Hotel World stated, "Having opened in 1988 and carrying on 35 years of history, Lotte Hotel World welcomes customers with an even newer look three years after completing a full renovation of all guest rooms," adding, "through this renewal, based on the new message of being a '5-star trendy leisure hotel,' we aim to become a hotel that embraces all generations by providing rest and enjoyment through hotel spaces, content, and services."

The newly unveiled guest rooms come in four types: Standard·Character·Residential·Ondol Suites, totaling 244 rooms. The character rooms, specialized for family customers, have been significantly expanded from 30 to 52 rooms. Following the Bread Barber Shop rooms (22 rooms) introduced on the upper floors, the Lotti Rory rooms (10 rooms) and Kakao Friends rooms (20 rooms) have been newly added.

The 'Lotti Rory Room,' decorated with the Lotte World mascot, consists of 9 family twin rooms favored by guests with families and 1 suite room with separate living and sleeping areas. The 'Kakao Friends Room' includes 18 family twin rooms and 2 suite rooms with separate living and sleeping areas. More than half of the 20 rooms offer views of Lotte World Adventure. Additionally, a 'Kakao Friends Sculpture' will be exhibited in the Lotte Hotel World lobby on the 1st floor until August.

Paying attention to the recent trend of hotels being recognized as long-term living spaces, residential rooms have also been introduced. The 'Residential Rooms' total 42 in number and include junior suites as well as deluxe double and twin rooms. These residential rooms are equipped with essential home appliances such as built-in refrigerators, washing machines, and microwaves to enhance convenience for long-term guests and business travelers.

As part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, Lotte Hotel World will completely replace the plastic room key cards used in all guest rooms with walnut wood key cards starting May 1. This change reduces carbon emissions from the existing plastic key cards by 97%, thereby enhancing eco-friendly value.

To celebrate the grand reopening, various package products and events have been prepared. The '35th Anniversary Celebration' package, available for stays until June 30, includes a one-night stay in a Premier Suite room, club lounge access for two, fine dining at the room for two, and one bottle of 35th-anniversary wine. Fine dining at the room offers hotel dining in the guest room with nine menu items such as assorted salmon and lamb chop steak. This package is limited to the first 35 rooms booked.

On the opening day, May 1, a '35th Anniversary Voucher' will be sold for 350,000 KRW, limited to 35 sets on a first-come, first-served basis. This voucher offers a special benefit of up to two additional nights when using one night. It can be purchased through the official website starting at 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, Lotte Hotel World completed its first renewal last June and initially opened guest rooms and the club lounge on floors 19 to 31. The high-floor guest rooms, totaling 255 rooms, are categorized into three levels: Deluxe, Premier, and Suite. The 28th-floor club lounge features a modern and cozy 'In-House Guest Lounge' atmosphere. Delivery and guide robots, as well as AI room controls, have also been introduced.
