Gyeongbuk Cheongsong-gun Hyeondong Middle School Holds Dokdo Love Camp

On the 26th, Dokdo education is being conducted for 2nd and 3rd grade students at Hyeondong Middle School in Cheongsong County.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Hyundong Middle School in Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, conducted Dokdo education linked with the Dokdo Experience Center for 2nd and 3rd grade students on the 26th.

The Dokdo education consisted of watching a video presenting evidence that Dokdo is our land, filling out activity sheets, selecting the ‘I am the Dokdo Explorer King,’ and presenting thoughts after the activities.

This Dokdo education served as an opportunity to recognize the preciousness of our land Dokdo, establish correct values, and foster a sense of love for Dokdo and the country through various experience-centered activities.

The students who received souvenirs were very satisfied and named them ‘Gangchi.’

A school official stated, “Through various camps like this, we expect students to enhance their understanding of correct values and history, develop self-exploration abilities, and cultivate creative thinking skills,” adding, “We will continue to provide generous support to help the students in the future.”
