Administrative Services in One Place... Expected Benefits of 'Yeokbuk Seohee Starhills Prime City' [Yeokbuk Seohee Starhills Prime City Bird's-eye View]

Recently, complexes being sold near the administrative town have been attracting the full attention of homebuyers. This is because a solid demand base of public officials and related industry workers is secured, and various administrative services can be accessed in one place.

The area around the administrative town naturally sees an increase in housing demand due to population inflow, not only from public officials and related industry workers but also because of significant nearby developments.

In fact, near the Yongin Culture and Welfare Administrative Town, the Everline (Yongin Light Rail) City Hall and Yongin University stations (opened in 2013) have already been launched, and large-scale developments are actively underway in the surrounding area. Additionally, near Suwon Gwanggyo New Town Administrative Town, the Shinbundang Line Gwanggyo Central Station (opened in 2016) is located, and various commercial and cultural facilities have been greatly expanded.

In July last year, the ‘Yongin Myeongji University Station Seohee Starhills Forest’ in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, recorded a first-priority subscription competition rate of 37.87 to 1. Also, the ‘Gwangju Administrative Town I-Park’ supplied in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, last November, closed its first-priority subscription with a competition rate of 6.08 to 1.

Amid this, the news of additional member recruitment for ‘Yeokbuk Seohee Starhills Prime City’ is drawing public attention. The complex is an apartment under the ‘Yeokbuk Regional Housing Association’ being built in Yeokbuk-dong, Cheoin-gu, Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province.

The complex is close to the Yongin Culture and Welfare Administrative Town. This area houses Yongin City Hall, the City Council, the Public Health Center, the Post Office, and the Tax Office, allowing residents to handle various administrative services in one place.

Development is also in full swing near the administrative town. The Yongin Techno Valley development was recently completed, and major companies are moving in. The ‘Yongin Semiconductor Cluster (scheduled for 2026)’ being promoted by SK Hynix is also planned. This project is expected to create about 30,000 jobs.

Public transportation is well established. The Everline Myeongji University Station and Kim Jang-ryang Station are accessible, and there are many express bus routes, making it easy to travel to downtown Seoul. Furthermore, once the GTX-A Line Yongin Station (scheduled for 2024) opens, accessibility to Seoul will greatly improve.

Connectivity to other regions via the metropolitan road network is also excellent. Access to the Yeongdong Expressway is very convenient through Yongin IC. You can enter the Metropolitan Area 2nd Ring Expressway via Seoyongin JC. Also, Shingal JC is nearby, providing access to the Gyeongbu Expressway, and benefits from the development of the 2nd Gyeongbu Expressway (Yongin JC) are expected.

Regional housing associations have the advantage of recruiting members on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of whether applicants own a housing subscription savings account or meet strict subscription requirements. This means that anyone residing in Seoul, Gyeonggi, or Incheon who meets the no-homeownership requirement (including owning one small or medium-sized home) can apply. After project approval, resale is possible regardless of the number of times.

Meanwhile, ‘Yeokbuk Seohee Starhills Prime City’ is currently operating a housing promotional center.
