[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The confirmation hearing for Han Dong-hoon, the nominee for Minister of Justice, will be held on the 4th of next month.

The National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee held a plenary meeting on the evening of the 26th and passed the resolution to adopt the plan for Han's confirmation hearing. Following the committee's decision, Han's hearing will take place at the National Assembly on the 4th of next month.

During the hearing, controversies such as the increase in the rent of Han's apartment in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and allegations of collusion between prosecutors and media are expected to be raised.
