Gangjin-gun Supports Youth Job Incentives in Industrial and Agro-Industrial Complexes

[Gangjin=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do, supports retention incentives for young people employed at companies within the Gangjin Industrial Complex and Chilryang·Maryang Agricultural and Industrial Complex, where youth employment is actively taking place.

The newly launched "Gangjin Pum-ae (愛) Youth Job Incentive Support Project" this year is being promoted to respond to local extinction by creating jobs in local industrial complexes and attracting young population inflow.

Since the 11th, the county has been recruiting participants for the project year-round, and incentives are provided. Eligible applicants are young people aged 39 or younger who have been employed as regular workers for more than one year after joining an industrial or agricultural complex in the area since January 1, 2021. Up to 1 million won per person will be paid in two installments via mobile Gangjin Love Gift Certificates.

Youth workers wishing to participate in the project can visit the Gangjin-gun Job Creation Division Population and Youth Policy Team with the application form and required documents posted on the county website's public notice or submit them by registered mail.

Im Jun-hyung, head of the Job Creation Division, said, "We hope the Gangjin Pum-ae (愛) Youth Job Incentive Support Project will help prevent the outflow of young people and create a business environment where companies and young workers coexist."
