Professor Kang Seongseung of Chosun University College of Engineering Awarded the Presidential Citation for Science and Technology Promotion

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Professor Kang Seong-seung of the Department of Energy Resources Engineering at Chosun University College of Engineering received the Presidential Citation for the Promotion of Science and Technology at the '2022 Science and Information and Communication Day Ceremony.'

According to Chosun University on the 26th, the ceremony was held on the 21st under the theme "Challenges and Innovation Toward the Future, Science and Technology·ICT with the People," commemorating the 55th Science Day and the 67th Information and Communication Day. Government awards were given to those who contributed to the promotion of information and communication and the evaluation of national research and development achievements.

Professor Kang has been actively engaged in the energy sector and was recognized for his contributions to national development through the promotion of science and technology, receiving the Presidential Citation.

Professor Kang said, "I will continue to conduct various research for the promotion of science and technology in the energy resources field, whose importance is growing due to environmental issues, and will steadily strive to advance related fields."
