'Blood Moon' is a fantasy film depicting the story of Mona, who escapes from a hospital on a day when a blood-red moon rises and embarks on a journey to find new freedom with dangerous powers. Actress Jeon Jong-seo takes on the role of Mona, the protagonist who uses her dangerous powers to seek new freedom, marking her entry into Hollywood. The film is directed by Anna Lily Amirpour, who directed 'A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.'
The film, which was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 78th Venice International Film Festival this year, chaired by director Bong Joon-ho, competes alongside Jane Campion's 'The Power of the Dog,' Pedro Almod?var's 'Parallel Mothers,' and Kristen Stewart's 'Spencer.'
Pan Cinema, the film company that introduced 'Minari,' 'La La Land,' 'Begin Again,' and 'CODA' to Korea, is in charge of the import and distribution of 'Blood Moon.'
