To Early Identify and Provide Focused Support for Vulnerable Students... Ulsan Office of Education Holds Training to Enhance Faculty Competence Ulsan Office of Education.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 25th, the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education held the '2022 Staff Education Welfare Capacity Building Training' for kindergarten principals and elementary school principals in the Oesol meeting room of the city education office.

The training, designed to strengthen the capacity of staff to early identify and support students from vulnerable educational welfare groups who are in blind spots, will be additionally conducted three more times until the 28th for middle and high school principals and staff.

This reflects the field's demand that cases differ between elementary schools and middle/high schools.

The training deeply covered topics such as the role of administrators for integrated support of vulnerable students, cooperation and linkage plans with social welfare institutions, and the role and utilization of the Education Welfare Safety Net Center.

The education welfare projects promoted by the city education office were also comprehensively introduced.

Superintendent No Ok-hee said, "We will do our best to early identify students who are experiencing difficulties in learning and emotional aspects due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and provide timely and intensive support."
