7 Gwangju District Mayor Candidates Including Yoon Bong-geun "Support Lee Yong-seop, Need Innovative Leadership"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Seven candidates who ran for the district mayor election in Gwangju Metropolitan City have declared their support for Lee Yong-seop, a preliminary candidate for mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City.

The seven candidates, Kang Shin-gi, Kim Ik-joo, Kim Hak-sil, Bae In-soo, Yoon Bong-geun, Lee Young-soon, and Jin Sun-gi, stated on the afternoon of the 23rd, "We are stopping our individual challenges, but the promises and passion for Gwangju's development that we pledged to the citizens will continue together with this preliminary candidate."

They said, "For the unstoppable development of Gwangju, our city needs the best driver who drives well. We cannot entrust our Gwangju to a novice reckless driver," and emphasized, "We need Lee Yong-seop, who practices innovative leadership personally learned from Presidents Kim Dae-jung, Roh Moo-hyun, and Moon Jae-in, and who is a true leader befitting the dignity of Gwangju."

The preliminary candidate said, "I feel reassured and grateful as if I have gained an army of one million," and emphasized, "The next four years of Gwangju's development with me, Lee Yong-seop, will be a citizen joint government that embodies the intentions of the seven people who declared their support today."
