Fintech specialist company InnoFin announced that it has obtained the Inno-Biz (technology innovation-type small and medium enterprise) certification, overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Inno-Biz certification is a government-initiated system designed to foster technology innovation-type small and medium enterprises. It is awarded to companies with high technological superiority, competitiveness, and future growth potential after evaluation in four areas: technological innovation capability, technology commercialization capability, technology innovation management capability, and technology innovation performance.
InnoFin, which recently received the Inno-Biz certification, started in 2014 as a robo-advisor and has supplied proprietary algorithms developed using big data and AI technology to major domestic securities firms. It has also participated as a government financial big data platform center operator. Recently, it launched the “Master of Investment” app, which consolidates fintech investment information analysis technology, attracting market attention.
Kim Seonghwan, head of InnoFin, stated, “Obtaining the Inno-Biz certification objectively recognizes our future growth potential and technological capabilities in the fintech sector,” and added, “We will strive company-wide to fulfill InnoFin’s mission of creating a prosperous world with the best technology.”
