According to the county on the 19th, the VR experience center will open on the 22nd on the first floor of the Theme Video Hall at Hampyeong Expo Park.
The "VR Experience Center" consists of 12 VR (virtual reality) types including roller coaster, future bike, drone, space travel, underwater exploration, paragliding, and 2 AR (augmented reality) types such as screen shooting and screen soccer.
Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays (closed every Monday), and extended until 6 p.m. on weekends.
The usage fee is 4,000 KRW per game, 10,000 KRW for 3 games, and 15,000 KRW for 5 games, with each program lasting about 3 to 4 minutes.
Residents of Hampyeong-gun, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients can use the facility at a 30% discounted price, and residents who have been issued the Jeonnam Love Citizen Card can use it at a 20% discounted price.
However, children under 110 cm in height, the elderly, and pregnant women are restricted from using the facility.
A county official said, "With the full lifting of social distancing and the butterfly festival period coinciding, a large crowd is expected. We will do our best to operate a safe VR experience center by deploying guides inside the center."
