[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] To celebrate May as Youth Month, the "9th Busan Youth Open Festival," hosted by Busan City and organized by the Busan Youth Activity Promotion Center, will be held both online and offline throughout May.


The event, aimed at revitalizing youth activities that have been stagnant due to COVID-19, will feature ▲The Strongest Busan Quiz King ▲Singing Contest ▲Online School and Institution Competition ▲Untact Race (Plogging) ▲"It’s Suddenly Thankful" gratitude message event, among others.


The online school and institution competition will bring together representatives from all schools in the region, as well as out-of-school, multicultural, and alternative youth institutions, to compete in ▲eSports Tournament ▲The Strongest Eye King (Guess the Person) ▲The Strongest Ear King (Guess the Song), etc., all held online.


Prizes will be awarded to faculty members and all students of the schools (institutions) ranked at the top.


The "Singing Contest" will have youth compete with songs such as trot and rap, with winners selected through preliminary and final rounds of judging.


The final round performance videos will be streamed on YouTube, and winners will receive certificates and cash prizes, including the Busan Mayor’s Award and the Busan Superintendent of Education Award.
