Gwangju Dong-gu and Jabisinhaenghoe Join Hands to Promote Donation Culture

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with Jabisinhaenghoe and Sansu 1-dong·Gyerim 1-dong (hereinafter San-gye Village) to establish the 'Dong-gu Food Market.'

The agreement was made to create the 'Dong-gu Food Market,' which will serve as a community welfare hub space within San-gye Village, aiming to promote regional development and the culture of donation through side dish sharing projects. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations, including Acting Mayor Kim Seong-hak of Dong-gu and Executive Director Kim Sang-ok of Jabisinhaenghoe.

Following this agreement, both organizations will actively cooperate on ▲establishing the Dong-gu Food Market ▲creating a shared kitchen ▲discovering sponsors and securing funding ▲handling donated goods expenses ▲and preparing other welfare policies.

A Dong-gu official said, “We deeply appreciate Jabisinhaenghoe for always supporting the welfare of our local residents,” and added, “We hope that both organizations will continue to expand their exchanges as partners in regional welfare.”
