On the 14th, at the newly established Mediheal-Korea Daily Championship (total prize money 1 billion KRW) of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour held at Ferrum Golf Course in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 6,628 yards), she made a hole-in-one on the 16th hole (par 3) on the first day and posed next to the Maserati Ghibli GT Hybrid car worth about 120 million KRW, which she received as a prize. She hit an 8-iron from a distance of 186 yards, and the ball was sucked into the hole. Her score on the first day was tied for 15th place (2 under par, 70 strokes).

"I took the shot imagining making a hole-in-one," said Kim Jae-hee. "Actually, it wasn't a well-hit shot," she exclaimed. "I hit it thickly, but there was more roll, and the landing was good, so I was able to make a hole-in-one." She added, "I always wanted to make a hole-in-one on a hole where a car was offered as a prize, so I'm happy that it became a reality.
