According to the legal community on the 14th, the 'National Ordinary Prosecutors' Representative Meeting' (tentative name) is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on the 19th. The number of attendees is expected to be around 150.
At the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, the largest prosecution office nationwide, about 10 representatives are expected to participate. This includes 4 to 5 from local district prosecutors' offices, 3 from branch offices with deputy chief prosecutors, and 2 from branch offices with chief prosecutors.
Ordinary prosecutors are reportedly planning to raise issues and discuss response measures regarding the problems of the Geomsu Wanbak bill as agenda items.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Supreme Prosecutors' Office stated, "It is difficult for the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to directly announce the time and place of the National Ordinary Prosecutors' Meeting," adding, "The organizers of the ordinary prosecutors' meeting are coordinating the timing and method of public announcement."
