Park Yong-jin Appointed as Chairman of Support Committee for Du Se-hoon, Wanju County Governor Preliminary Candidate

[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Park Yong-jin, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea and National Assemblyman for Gangbuk-gu Eul, Seoul (re-elected), has taken on the role of chairman of the support committee for Du Se-hoon, a preliminary candidate for Wanju County Governor.

Park, who is originally from Jangsu, Jeonbuk, stated, "Having observed candidate Du during the 20th presidential election primaries and general election through youth farmer meetings, I am convinced that he is a person capable of creating a future-oriented Wanju through change and innovation," explaining his reason for accepting the position of chairman of the support committee.

Du Se-hoon, the preliminary candidate for Wanju County Governor, said, "Assemblyman Park Yong-jin, known as the kindergarten martyr, willingly took on the role of chairman of the support committee, which is like gaining a great ally amid difficult conditions for young politicians," and added, "To repay the trust given by Assemblyman Park Yong-jin and the people of Wanju, I will become a working governor, not one who just receives ceremonial honors."

Meanwhile, among other preliminary candidates for Wanju County Governor, candidate Lee Don-seung has recruited Assemblyman Ahn Kyu-baek, and candidate Yoo Hee-tae has brought in former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun as chairmen of their support committees.
