New Bus Route 313 Established, Running Through Jaeun 3 District in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City

Improve commuting and school travel conditions through new routes, extensions, and additions

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] A new city bus route circulating the area of Jaeun 3 District in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, will begin operation from the 18th.

Changwon City established Route 155-1 and extended Route 317 in 2019 in response to the development of large-scale residential complexes in the Jaeun 3 District area.

In November 2021, the number of buses operating on Route 317 was increased, but residents within the complex continued to express inconvenience with public transportation. To improve commuting and school travel conditions, the city announced the establishment of the 'Route 313 Circular Line.'

The Route 313 circular bus operates 28 times a day at 30-minute intervals between Naengcheon Intersection and Jungheung S-Class.

Route 37, which runs from Museong Village in Dong-eup to the terminal at Gasul in Daesan-myeon, will have its first bus departing from Mujeom terminal at 7:50 AM instead of Museong Village.

Route 707 has been extended from the existing Haeun Middle School to Gapo High School, and one new stop has been added to each of Routes 8 and 752.

Je Jongnam, Head of the New Transportation Promotion Team, said, “We hope local residents will conveniently use city buses through the circular route. We will fully reflect citizens' opinions in the comprehensive overhaul of city bus routes linked with the Changwon Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system to implement the nation's best public transportation system.”
