[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Orange Group, a platform company under Orenjiwon, announced on the 14th that it has appointed Han Kwanghee, former Chief Executive Officer of Mesh Korea, as its new president.
Orange Group is a venture company with diverse business areas including platforms, fashion, bio, and real estate development. It owns several in-house brands such as Welfare Club, VIP Club, Excelsior Sneakers, Cheonnyeon Sunsu Red Ginseng, Hong-a Sunsu Red Ginseng, Organis, and Orange Tower.
Han Kwanghee, the new president who graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Food Engineering, is an expert in overseas sales and networks, having served as the head of business for CJ CGV China and CJ CheilJedang. Based on his diverse experiences, he published a book titled "Become a Strong Second" in November 2017.
President Han said, "I am pleased to realize TSO (The Spirit of Orangegroup) together," and added, "I will contribute to expanding Orange Group, which has pioneered new markets in various fields with a fast and dynamic corporate spirit, into the best platform and brand company."
Orange Group will strengthen its platform division within the group together with President Han. It will enhance sales of its in-house brands and strengthen overseas market development in China, Southeast Asia, and other regions.
