[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] 11st's simple payment service 'SK Pay' has launched a service that allows users to convert partner company points into 'SK Pay Points.'

On the 14th, 11st announced the launch of a partner points conversion service that enables customers to easily convert points from SK Pay partner businesses such as My Shinhan Points, KB Pointree, Hana Money, and Culture Cash into SK Pay Points for use.

SK Pay Points are reward points that can be used as a payment method like cash when paying with 11st's simple payment service SK Pay. Benefits include 2% accumulation based on VIP grade when paying on 11st, an additional 2% accumulation when using the 11st Shinhan Card, and extra accumulation through various promotions.

Verified 11st customers can check their points and convert as many as they want in 1-point increments into SK Pay Points by clicking the 'Convert Partner Points' button within the 'My 11st' section or on the product order page. Partner points are converted to SK Pay Points at a 1:1 ratio, and the converted points are subject to SK Pay Points' usage policies.

11st plans to expand the number of convertible partner points to more than 10 by collaborating with various domestic point providers such as Happymoney in the future.

Lim Ji-hyun, head of 11st Payment, said, "By converting various points that customers had forgotten about or held in small amounts with limited uses into SK Pay Points, they will be able to utilize their points more effectively. We will continue to strengthen the service to provide convenience and valuable benefits to approximately 17 million SK Pay users."

To celebrate the service launch, 11st is holding an event until May 31 where customers who convert partner points on 11st will receive 2% of the converted points re-accumulated as SK Pay Points (in the case of Hana Money, re-accumulated as Hana Money).

11st's SK Pay is a leading simple payment service that surpassed a cumulative payment amount of 21.6 trillion KRW and 400 million transactions as of March.
