Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (President Choi Yong-hyuk) has been selected as a university for the '2022 Content One Campus Construction and Operation' project organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency.
This project aims to cultivate convergence creative talents through innovative industry-academia-research-government collaboration projects, and Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts has achieved the great feat of being selected as a Content One Campus Construction and Operation university for two consecutive years following last year.
Professor Choi Hyuk-jae of the Digital Video Design Department at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, which oversees the project, stated, “We plan to promote a K-POP virtual music video production project utilizing advanced technologies such as virtual production and volumetric capture for next-generation immersive media production. To carry out this project, we will establish a convergence education infrastructure combining K-POP and virtual production together with the new media production company IOFX, providing students with a foundation to acquire and hone various content production skills.”
Students enrolled in the K-POP and Digital Video Design departments at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts will participate in the project production, while IOFX will be responsible for technical support and on-site practical training for the project.
The Korea Creative Content Agency has decided to provide 200 million KRW in funding to Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts and IOFX for the Content One Campus Construction and Operation project.
