[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Blue House clarified on the 12th that there is no set plan regarding media reports that President Moon Jae-in will leave the Blue House on the last day of his term, next month on the 9th.
Park Kyung-mi, spokesperson for the Blue House, stated, "Regarding media reports that President Moon is expected to leave the Blue House on May 9th, we inform you that nothing has been decided yet."
This response came after reports that President-elect Yoon Seok-youl announced plans to open the Blue House on the 10th, and that President Moon would leave the Blue House on the afternoon of the 9th to stay elsewhere before attending the inauguration ceremony on the 10th.
Meanwhile, with about a month left before his retirement, President Moon is reported to be taking commemorative photos with Blue House staff from today until the 13th.
