The facilities subject to illegal act reports include all multi-use establishments, cultural and assembly facilities, sales facilities (large stores), lodging facilities, transportation facilities, medical facilities, entertainment facilities, elderly and child care facilities, and complex buildings.
Illegal acts related to fire facilities include ▲ acts that obstruct the use of evacuation and fire prevention facilities and fire compartments ▲ stacking objects or installing obstacles around evacuation and fire prevention facilities and fire compartments ▲ closing, locking, or damaging evacuation and fire prevention facilities and fire compartments.
Lee Gwan-yong, Director of the Prevention and Safety Division, stated, “We ask for active reporting to eradicate illegal acts such as blocking emergency exits or cutting off and neglecting power to fire facilities to prevent human casualties.”
