Blue Street Launches Customized Food Ingredient Distribution Service 'Central Kitchen'

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The gourmet platform ‘Blue Street’ announced on the 11th that it will launch the 'Central Kitchen' business, a customized ingredient distribution service tailored to each store.


The Central Kitchen business is a pre-processing service that provides customized ingredients prepared according to each store's recipes. Blue Street created this service to help food service operators, who have been hit hard by kitchen staff shortages in the dining industry and the sharp decline in sales after COVID-19, operate their businesses more efficiently.


By reducing the time spent on ingredient preparation through the pre-processing service, kitchens can be operated more efficiently, and business operators are expected to focus on pressing issues such as new menu development and store expansion. The service will initially be supplied to individual business owners and delivery-only stores. In the future, Blue Street plans to expand the service through collaboration with small-scale franchises. A Blue Street representative said, "If there is a menu you want pre-processed, after consulting about the service, we can source manufacturers and provide free product sampling. Once you decide to use the pre-processing service, you can receive deliveries according to your desired distribution schedule. There is no service usage fee, and costs are incurred only when ordering ingredients."
