Lee Sujeong: "Lee Eunhae is different from Go Yujeong... Appears to be a psychopath with no empathy at all"

"Goyujeong's Crime, Expression of Dissatisfaction Toward Husband... Lee Eunhae's Murder for Profit"

Lee Sujeong: "Lee Eunhae is different from Go Yujeong... Appears to be a psychopath with no empathy at all" Suspect Lee Eun-hae (left) and accomplice Jo Hyun-soo in the 'Valley Murder' case.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] Professor Lee Soo-jung of the Department of Criminal Psychology at Kyonggi University said about Lee Eun-hae, who has been identified as a suspect in the "Valley Murder Case," "I cannot read any empathy at all," adding, "It seems she is indeed a psychopath."

On the 11th, Professor Lee appeared on CBS Radio's "Kim Hyun-jung's News Show" and explained, "'Ah, that's scary, that must be scary. We should tell people not to harm that person'?this is empathy, but (Lee) does not even seem to empathize well with fear," adding, "We need to arrest and examine her to know more precisely, but based on the information currently available, it appears she does not have emotional experiences within the normal range."

Regarding opinions that Ko Yoo-jung, who killed her husband and dismembered the body, and Lee Eun-hae are similar, Professor Lee pointed out, "There is a difference in motive." He analyzed, "Ko Yoo-jung's crime is a kind of expression of dissatisfaction toward her spouse, but Lee does not seem to feel any emotions such as anger or fear," adding, "She appears to treat the person merely as a tool, thinking 'I will get benefits by getting rid of that person.' We call this instrumental murder, and there is a 180-degree difference in motive compared to Ko."

He continued, "If Ko has borderline personality disorder, I suspect Lee fits the profile of a typical psychopath," adding, "We need to arrest and examine her to gain a more accurate understanding."

Professor Lee claimed that an organized movement is detected in Lee's case and that everyone around her should be investigated. He said, "Because the victim is Lee's husband, Mr. Yoon, investigative agencies seem to have focused their investigation on Lee," adding, "However, based on the facts revealed, such harm toward men of this type has been continuously occurring since the age of 15."

He continued, "The problem is that she was not alone," explaining, "From that time, she probably ran away from home and lived with a so-called 'runaway family,' a group of multiple male and female friends. After becoming adults, they seem to have turned into professional insurance fraudsters, and there are also traces related to traffic accidents."

Professor Lee analyzed that Lee's possibility of fleeing abroad is low. He said, "It cannot be assumed that she fled overseas because most of the crimes committed are not under her own identity," adding, "There are signs of involvement in crimes where accomplices frequently use fake cars or fake bank accounts and share IDs."

He added, "Although people talk about Lee's boyfriend, Jo Hyun-soo, since Lee and Jo are not married, there is no particular reason for them to be together," and pointed out, "In such a group, the scope should be broadened to include acquaintances, accomplices, and past accomplices to track their whereabouts through investigation."
