Kakao Announces Recruitment for First Half Year Internship Linked to Employment

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Kakao announced on the 11th that it is recruiting for its 2022 first half recruitment-linked internship.

This internship is targeted at developers in the tech field, and a three-digit number of successful candidates will be finally selected. After the two-month internship period ends, successful candidates will have the opportunity to join Kakao as full-time employees following an evaluation.

The recruitment fields are ▲Server ▲Client ▲Data ▲Infrastructure, and applicants can apply according to the detailed job roles.

The application period is from today until 5 PM on the 2nd of next month, and applicants can apply regardless of academic background or major. All applicants will undergo a coding test, and depending on the detailed job role, a second test or additional assignments may be conducted.

After document screening and interviews, successful candidates will be announced in June, and all recruitment processes will be conducted remotely. The internship period is from the end of June to the end of August.

Kakao will also hold a ‘LIVE briefing session’ for prospective applicants on the 16th from 1 PM to 7 PM. Anyone can attend through the participation link on the recruitment homepage, and there will be introductions by job field as well as a Q&A session with last year’s internship hires.
