[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Booyoung Group's Woojeong Medical Foundation held a groundbreaking ceremony for Woojeong-Geumcheon General Hospital (tentative name) on the 9th.

Woojeong-Geumcheon General Hospital will be built in the Siheung-dong area of Geumcheon-gu, consisting of 5 basement floors to 18 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 175,818㎡ and 810 beds. Major facilities include ▲Basement floors 1 to 5: parking lot and convenience facilities ▲Above-ground floors 1 to 4: outpatient clinics, examination rooms, and cultural spaces ▲Floors 5 to 6: operating rooms, intensive care units, laboratories, and sky garden ▲Floors 7 to 17: inpatient wards ▲18th floor: rooftop floor. The hospital will have specialized medical centers such as the Cardiovascular Center, Gastroenterology Center, and Women's Center.

Group affiliates Booyoung Housing and Donggwang Housing invested in the hospital site and operating funds worth approximately 45 billion KRW to establish the Woojeong Medical Foundation, obtained permits, and began construction.
