Successful Opening Ceremony of Bae Insu, Gwangju Seo-gu Office Chief Preliminary Candidate's Election Campaign Office

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The opening ceremony of the election office for Bae Insu, the Democratic Party of Korea's preliminary candidate for Mayor of Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, was successfully held.


At the opening ceremony, about 1,000 people including Kang Kijeong, preliminary candidate for Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City; National Assembly members Yang Hyangja, Lee Gaeho, and Kim Kyungman; preliminary candidates for Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education such as Lee Jeongseon and Park Hyeja; preliminary candidates for metropolitan and basic councilors; supporters; and residents participated together.


At the event, candidate Bae promised to become a fair and honest district mayor.


To this end, he presented pledges including ▲ new growth engines and future value ▲ Seo-gu as a premium educational city nurturing future dreams ▲ Seo-gu as the top city for quality of life ▲ operation of a safe welfare 24-hour call center ▲ Wootum Seo-gu where everyone smiles brightly ▲ Seo-gu where culture and sports breathe life ▲ improvement of transportation infrastructure and creation of a citizen cultural space belt ▲ Seo-gu as a carbon-neutral, climate change leading city.


Candidate Bae said, “I have the know-how of being an honest and diligent five-term union head and protecting Seo-gu for 20 years,” adding, “The attitude of caring for and respecting citizens and performing duties honestly is ingrained in me as know-how.”


He continued, “Seo-gu now needs an ‘economic expert’ more than ever,” emphasizing, “Bae Insu, who has lived his whole life in Seo-gu as an economic expert who understands the economy well, will protect Seo-gu.”
