Korea Federation of SMEs Opens Registration for Lotte Shopping and Home&Shopping Product Evaluation Meeting Participation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KSMB) announced on the 10th that it will open applications for participation in the product evaluation meeting to select vendors for Lotte Shopping and Home&Shopping.

The participants eligible for the evaluation meeting are small and medium-sized enterprises manufacturing consumer goods located in Korea. The target product categories cover all items from daily necessities to fashion accessories and food products.

In particular, companies selected as vendors for Lotte Department Store will be able to enter the Small and Medium Business Win-Win Center (Dream Plaza), which operates permanently at the Seoul Main Store, Yeongdeungpo Store, Jamsil Store, and Busan Main Store, and receive benefits such as exemption from labor costs, promotional expenses, and interior costs.

The application deadline is until the 29th of this month. Details on how to apply and further information can be found on the KSMB website.

Kim Gi-moon, chairman of KSMB, emphasized, “The product evaluation meeting, which involves various distribution channels, is the starting point for market development and an opportunity to meet more consumers. Going forward, KSMB will support small and medium enterprises and small business owners who produce excellent products but face difficulties in securing sales channels by utilizing all available channels.”
