[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] On the 6th, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will sequentially open and operate three courses including leather crafts and driver's license courses for about 50 people, including career-interrupted and marriage immigrant women, starting with the 'Nail Art Qualification Acquisition Class.'
This education program recruits and operates students based on a survey of local women's demands and preferred courses. In particular, the Nail Art Qualification Acquisition Class, which supports career-interrupted women to realize their entrepreneurial dreams, and the Driver's License Acquisition Class for marriage immigrant women are receiving great responses.
Since 2011, Goheung-gun has produced 1,517 students in 87 courses such as Korean-Chinese cuisine cooking technician, Aromatherapy Level 3, and Caregiver Qualification Acquisition, as a project to develop the abilities of career-interrupted rural women and establish economic self-reliance, aiming to create healthy families and a happy Goheung for women.
An official from the county said, "We plan to do our best to expand women's social participation and create a happy Goheung for women by operating various programs such as ▲ Working Mom Ability Development Program ▲ One-day Class for Self-care ▲ Communication Concert Recognizing Working Moms for work-family balance."
