[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘2022 Mobile Healthcare Project’ until the 15th.
The ‘Mobile Healthcare Project’ is a program that provides one-on-one customized health management such as health, nutrition, and exercise using a mobile app for people at health risk.
The recruitment target is residents of Jangseong aged 19 to 60 and workers in Jangseong-gun who have one or more health risk factors among blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, triglycerides, cholesterol, and waist circumference.
However, those who have been diagnosed at a medical institution or are taking medication, or those without a smartphone, cannot participate in the project.
Residents wishing to participate can apply by phone to the Health Policy Team of Jangseong-gun Public Health Center by the 15th.
The county plans to select a final 70 participants by conducting blood, blood pressure, and body mass tests and doctor consultations for applicants.
If selected as a project participant, a wristband-type activity tracker linked to a smartphone will be provided free of charge, and various health information and benefits such as mobile gift certificates will be given to excellent participants who achieve health practice goals.
A representative of the Jangseong-gun Public Health Center said, “Since the service is provided non-face-to-face, residents who find it difficult to visit the health center can easily participate,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many residents.”
