To Foster Companies and Provide Employee Training in the 4th Industrial Revolution Sector
Officials from Dongmyung University University Innovation Research Complex Project Group and Busan Information Technology Association are taking a commemorative photo after the consultation meeting.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongmyung University University Innovation Research Complex Project Group and the Busan Information Technology Association signed an agreement on the 6th at Samwoo Immersion to foster companies in the 4th industrial fields such as future transportation devices and intelligent machinery in the region and to provide education for current employees.
The event was attended by Chairman Jeong Chung-kyo, about 30 representatives of member companies, Director Kim Ki-joo, PM Lee Ah-yeon, Researcher Lee Chun-gil, and staff member Park Yang-ri. Participants also toured the Samwoo Immersion educational facilities and experienced the immersive education system.
Through the agreement, the two organizations will carry out ▲ joint project discovery and network formation for the socio-economic revitalization of Busan ▲ discussions on research and development, talent cultivation, and employment linkage plans for fostering future industries ▲ mutual cooperation for promotion and information sharing between the two organizations.
Director Kim Ki-joo said, “We hope to establish support programs reflecting company discovery and corporate needs through close network formation with the Busan Information Technology Association and make it a driving force for fostering related industries and advancing industry-academia cooperation.”
Chairman Jeong Chung-kyo said, “There is a strong opinion that talent cultivation is a priority for the Busan Information Technology Association to foster future industries centered on member companies,” adding, “The fact that the agreement was made at Samwoo Immersion, the world’s first XR-based talent cultivation center, shows the direction of cooperation between the university and the association.”
The University Innovation Research Complex Project Group aims for regional, industrial, and academic development through an online platform supporting ‘corporate support for facilities and equipment technology within the university’ and ‘customized talent cultivation education desired by companies.’
