[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Lee Sang-min, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Lee Jae-myung, the party's standing adviser whose popularity has risen after losing the presidential election and who even took charge of the fan cafe 'Ijangjik,' saying, "Now is not the time for Adviser Lee to step forward, but to step back, rest, and reflect on himself."

On the 5th, Lee appeared on MBN's 'Pressroom Comes' and stated, "(Adviser Lee) was the main figure who lost the presidential election and went through a very difficult time during the election process himself, so it is understandable that he might need some time to recharge."

Regarding Adviser Lee taking on the role of head of the 'Jaemyeongne Maeul Fan Club,' Lee said, "Since he is a politician, he cannot completely stop political activities, but he needs to be more cautious. If he becomes impatient, he will lose his composure and his judgment will become clouded."

Earlier, on the 2nd, Adviser Lee accepted the position of 'Ijangjik,' the representative of his fan cafe 'Jaemyeongne Maeul.' He posted, "I had many concerns, but since a vote was held and the decision was made, I cannot refuse."

Meanwhile, when the host asked, "I heard that Adviser Lee called Democratic Party lawmakers after the presidential election to thank them and express his gratitude," Lee responded, "I did not receive a call. I tried to call him to offer consolation, but he did not answer or respond," adding, "Maybe he thinks that way because I said some unpleasant things."

Regarding the upcoming June 1 local elections, Lee warned, "The traditional Democratic Party should decide its candidates according to the will of party members and citizens. If a few people secretly exert influence behind the scenes to decide candidates, the party as a whole will suffer a great loss."

He continued, "If Adviser Lee influenced the selection of the Gyeonggi Province governor candidate, that is unacceptable," adding, "That would be a negative for Lee Jae-myung himself."

He concluded, "If he becomes impatient and thinks about building power by influencing the party's emergency committee chairman, party leader, or the local elections, it will have a bad effect on the party. I expect that he will not do so."
