From April 8 to May 6, for residents, permanent residents, and marriage immigrants
[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will provide all residents with 200,000 KRW as the ‘5th Disaster Living Expense’ to overcome the prolonged COVID-19 crisis.
The county reflected 11 billion KRW in the 1st supplementary budget in cooperation with the county council and plans to pay 200,000 KRW per person from the 8th of this month to the 6th of next month.
The payment targets are residents registered in Yeongam-gun as of the payment criteria date, the 4th of this month, and permanent residents (F5) and marriage immigrants (F6) among registered foreigners as of the application date.
If the head of the household registered in the resident registration applies collectively including household members, the payment will be made in Yeongam Love Gift Certificates.
For the convenience of residents, various application channels will be expanded and operated, including village-specific application days (eup areas), village outreach applications (myeon areas), and online applications.
Online applications are possible on the Yeongam-gun website if the applicant has been issued or holds a Yeongam Love Card, and card issuance can be applied for by visiting the nearest regional Nonghyup branch.
In addition, for elderly or disabled persons living alone who have difficulty moving, village staff will visit directly to receive applications.
The charged cards can be used at any Yeongam Love Gift Certificate affiliated store.
Meanwhile, to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, the county has supported a total of 550,000 KRW per person, including 100,000 KRW per person for the 1st Disaster Living Expense in 2020 and 200,000 KRW for the 4th Disaster Living Expense.
