Up to 15 Million KRW in Labor Cost Support for Local Youth for a Maximum of 2 Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Yeongcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province, and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency are recruiting participants for the ‘Rural Youth Rooting Support Project’ until the 13th to help local youth preparing for preliminary startups settle down in the area.
This project is a youth CEO training program that supports stable local settlement of young people and discovers young entrepreneurs with local startup ideas, providing one-stop support from startup to post-support.
The recruitment target is youth aged 19 to 39 with an address in Yeongcheon City. Applications can be made in teams of two, and both members must have an address in Yeongcheon City when applying as a team.
Simple cafe and restaurant startups, franchises, finance and real estate, food service and lodging, entertainment businesses, and leisure industries are excluded.
Selected preliminary entrepreneurs will receive startup funds of 15 million KRW (up to 2 years), and if they maintain their business in the third year and hire new youth employees, additional labor costs will be supported.
Those wishing to participate can apply for the project online through the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency.
Choi Ki-moon, Mayor of Yeongcheon City, said, “I hope that young people with creative ideas and good business items will steadily settle in Yeongcheon City, share various information with young entrepreneurs, and become the main players who revitalize the local economy.”
