Townhouses Offering High Residential Comfort, 'Woosung Rapad The Terrace' Scheduled for April Sale

A new trend is emerging in the real estate market recently. With the implementation of the 52-hour workweek and the impact of COVID-19 increasing the time spent at home, demand for spacious living areas has grown. At the same time, the need for comfort has risen, drawing buyers' attention to terrace houses and townhouses.

Among these, townhouses are classified as residential products with significant advantages in terms of spaciousness and residential comfort, which have become more preferred. Townhouses are often located in areas surrounded by forests, parks, or lakes. They feature ample service spaces such as terraces, duplexes, and gardens, allowing residents to freely utilize the space according to their lifestyle.

For example, terrace or garden spaces can be equipped with swimming pools or tents for children to enjoy outdoor activities while overlooking the forest and park, or tables can be set up to use the terrace as a caf?. Additionally, attics or alpha spaces can be customized into home theaters or offices for remote work, enabling unique space configurations tailored to the family’s lifestyle.

Recently, practical townhouses have become more popular. The townhouses currently being supplied mainly feature exclusive areas of 84㎡, which are highly preferred by consumers, and incorporate convenient apartment systems, transforming them into comfortable and easy-to-live-in residential products, maintaining high interest.

For instance, in October last year, SK Ecoplant’s ‘Pangyo SK View Terrace’ in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, recorded a high competition rate of 316.7 to 1 with 92,491 applications for 292 units. Earlier this year, ‘Hillstate Dongtan The Terrace’ supplied in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, also closed subscriptions with a double-digit competition rate of 13.6 to 1, receiving 1,353 applications for 99 units. In addition, several complexes, including ‘Mireuksan The Terrace O2 Grande Phase 2’ by Jeil Construction in Iksan-si, Jeonbuk, successfully completed sales last December.

Meanwhile, Woosung Comprehensive Construction plans to launch the townhouse ‘Woosung Lafard The Terrace’ in Ilgwang New Town, Gijang-gun, which is emerging as a new city representing Busan along with Haeundae and Myeongji International City, in April.

This complex will be located in Samsung-ri, Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan Metropolitan City, consisting of 17 buildings from basement level 1 to ground level 3, with a total of 102 urban lifestyle housing units of exclusive 84㎡, along with 36 neighborhood living facilities.

The complex is attracting attention for its location that enjoys both the beautiful natural environment of Ilgwang New Town, which embraces forests and the sea, and the high future value of Ilgwang New Town. Ilgwang Mountain is located behind the complex, and Ilgwang Beach stretches out in front, making it possible to realize the healing life everyone dreams of.

Convenient living infrastructure is also in place. Located close to the existing Ilgwang New Town, residents can easily access various convenience infrastructures of both the new and old towns, such as Gijang Gyori Won Central City. Once the development of Ilgwang New Town’s central commercial area is completed, even more convenient residential life will be possible.

Additionally, Woosung Lafard The Terrace is within walking distance of Haebit Elementary School, Ilgwang Elementary School, and Ilgwang Middle School, allowing residents’ children to commute safely. With the planned development of a nearby high school site, the complex is expected to become a one-stop school zone with elementary, middle, and high schools all within walking distance, further increasing residential preference.

Excellent transportation is another strength. Gijang IC is nearby, providing easy access to the Busan-Ulsan Expressway and National Route 14, enabling quick travel to Haeundae, the economic and cultural center of Busan, and Ulsan, where large-scale jobs are located. Moreover, Ilgwang Station on the Donghae Line is located about 1.3 km from the complex. From Ilgwang Station, it takes about 20 minutes to Busan Centum Station and about 30 minutes to Ulsan Taehwagang Station by Donghae Line.

The complex is also expected to benefit from the development of the Osiria Tourist Complex. Located just 4 km from Ilgwang New Town, Osiria Tourist Complex is a large-scale tourist complex representing Busan, currently under active development, housing IKEA and Lotte Outlet. Last month, Lotte World Adventure Busan, the largest theme park in the southeastern region, also opened. Furthermore, Busan City announced plans for early construction of the Osiria Line, including extensions of Busan Metro Line 2 and the Jeonggwan and Gijang Lines, which will further improve transportation.

The model house for Woosung Lafard The Terrace is scheduled to open in April.
